Just a quick update for you - with apologies, the Flookburgh Community Food Club start date is delayed whilst we wait for our paperwork to be processed - as soon as we hear we can start we will be in touch to let you know - we'll try not to be giddy at that point, but it will be very exciting to say we can get going after all this planning! Let's keep fingers crossed it's not too long a wait.
In the meantime, there are other ways of accessing good food and helping to save it from going to waste that you might not be aware of, listed below.

Waste Not, Want Not Cartmel Peninsula has food available for collection daily at 6 Pitt Garth Haggs Lane Cartmel LA11 6PH. It's generally added to around 8:15pm. Take what you need, pay what you feel, if you can. All food is available no matter what your bank balance.
Community Foodstore is a new weekly food venture opening this Saturday, 2nd May and then every Saturday from 2-4pm at the Old NatWest Bank, Grange over Sands. It's organised by https://www.facebook.com/
Grange Mutual Aid for Self Isolation is supporting people within the peninsula who are self-isolating and need help https://www.facebook.com/
Age UK South Lakeland - 030 300 30003 are also offering help to those self-isolating.
